Taco Crock Pot Shredded ChickenI just threw this together the other night. I had forgotten how wonderful a crock pot is when time is limited. This was super easy. This is not an exact recipe with amounts. I will post an exact recipe with nutritional breakdown in the coming weeks. Rough Recipe:2 packages of boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 packages of McCormick 30% Less Sodium Taco Seasoning 16 oz Organic Vegetable or Chicken Broth (I use Central Market Organic) -you can use 8 oz of water and 8 oz of broth if desired. -you can omit the McCormick Seasoning and use 16 oz of water and add in your own amounts of finely ground sea salt, cracked black pepper, chili pepper powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder. -you can also click this link for DIY Taco Seasoning highoctanetraining.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=food&action=display&thread=86&page=1Directions:1. Remove visible fat and pound chicken breasts with a meat mallet/tenderizer. 2. Combine all ingredients in crockpot and cook until chicken is tender and shred with a fork.
