yah, I know.....sounds disgusting That's what I thought; however, these are quite delicious. After eating them, I wanted to make more!
1 6 oz can tuna, drained, *and finely mashed* 3 egg whites 1/2 cup your choice...bell peppers, onions, green onions, finely chopped/diced (I use only green onions/chives right now) 1/2 cup Quick Oats or whole Rolled Oats **Tip** You can grind up the oatmeal in a food processor/blender to make fine crumbs, resembling breadcrumbs** garlic salt/onion powder to taste fresh minced garlic (optional) mustard sea salt & pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together I like to let the ingredients rest for a few minutes to let the oats absorb some of the liquid. Cook in frying pan with Pam like a pancake. Brown on both sides.
